Muhlenberg County CourthouseGreenville, Kentucky | 33,800 Square Feet | New Courthouse Plaza Associated General Contractors of Kentucky 2004 Design Award Recipient This new 33,800 s.f. judicial building was funded by the General Assembly in 2000. The project consists of not only a new building for all Family, District and Circuit Court functions, but also redevelopment of downtown Greenville including the existing Courthouse Square. This involved closing a downtown street to create a pedestrian plaza unifying the new building with the stately old courthouse building. The new courthouse contains features such as a grand central stair, mosaic tile floors and wood moldings. |
