DOWNTOWN REVITALIZATION

HISTORIC MONMOUTH STREET STREETSCAPE
Newport, Kentucky

Brandstetter Carroll Inc. performed a Master Plan and Phase I Construction Documents for streetscape development of eight blocks of the main retail corridor, including improvements to sidewalks, curbs, curb ramps, lighting and related street amenities. Phase I utilized ISTEA and TEA-21 Funds. The Peace Bell and Newport-on-the-Levee anchor the north end and the City Hall anchors the south end. This project is located on S.R. 27 and was completed in 2002 prior to paving by KYTC.
