Brandstetter Carroll Inc. played a major role in the redevelopment of Newport's commercial and entertainment district by providing site design improvements for three projects. These include the Newport Aquarium, Newport-on-the-levee Development and six blocks of State Route 8 Reconstruction. Funding was provided through private developers, KyTC and local funds. Brandstetter Carroll Inc. worked closely with GBBN who was the Architect of Record.
