To help the City of Aurora, Indiana, revitalize its aquatic offerings, Brandstetter Carroll Inc. led the design of a new, modern facility built around the needs of the community. The project began with a detailed assessment of the existing facility, followed by the development of a tailored program outlining requirements for the pool, deck, and pool house.
With a clear vision in place, BCI designed a vibrant aquatic environment featuring a waterslide, climbing wall, diving board, interactive water play structure, and a zero-depth entry for accessible, inclusive fun.
The surrounding facility includes updated locker rooms, a concessions area, chemical and equipment storage, and an improved entry area to enhance visitor experience and operational flow.
This thoughtfully designed aquatic center is a reflection of Aurora’s commitment to providing high-quality recreational spaces for residents of all ages.
