The Edmond Fire Station No. 2 is 14,639 square feet and has three drive-through bays. The fire station has the capacity to house two companies. It can sleep eight fire fighters and two officers. Amenities include an exercise room with external overhead door for Crossfit training; a training room that can hold up to 24 and has complete audio/visual capabilities; and full LED lighting throughout the station. In addition, the engine bays have high-speed Four-Fold Doors, which helps to decrease response time. There is an EMS Triage Room to accommodate walk-in patients and a secure storage room for medications. The station also has high-end security features, including keypad entries and cameras.
