As part of the City of Edinburg’s continued investment in inclusive recreation, Brandstetter Carroll Inc. is designing a new all-abilities sprayground that ensures water play is accessible and fun for everyone. With generous support from Capable Kids, the project brings a fully inclusive water play environment to life—where children and families of all abilities can connect, explore, and enjoy.
The design features a wheelchair-accessible play structure, zero-depth entry around the entire perimeter, and an inclusive pathway that connects the sprayground to surrounding park amenities. Every element has been thoughtfully planned to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all users, regardless of mobility or ability.
This new sprayground will be a vibrant addition to Edinburg’s already-thriving recreational campus, which includes a 50-meter pool and a well-loved community park—further enhancing the city’s commitment to inclusive, family-friendly recreation.
