The planning process emphasized meaningful public engagement, featuring a statistically valid household survey, a web-based community survey, stakeholder discussions, public open houses, and online engagement tools. A comprehensive inventory and analysis of existing City-owned parks and facilities established a solid foundation for recommendations.
The plan presents a clear vision for the future of parks and recreation in Cuyahoga Falls, supported by strategic goals and actionable objectives. It includes conceptual designs for several parks and outlines targeted recommendations for land acquisition, facility development, trail expansion, and program enhancements—positioning the city to meet evolving community needs while continuing to build on its strong parks legacy.
