Scope

Located on the site of Del City’s original fire station, the 17,400 s.f. Central Station has four double-stacked engine bays and sleeps up to eight personnel. It also houses fire administration, an evidence room for the fire marshal, and a training tower with additional training props on one of the two mezzanines, and on the roof.
The Emergency Operations Center allows for the integration of various emergency response agencies within the community. When not used as an EOC, the room acts as a large training room with the latest audio-visual technology, with a seating capacity of 40. Multiple monitors provide information from multiple sources during emergency events. Computer workstations are available to maintain contact with various governmental agencies during the event. This part of the station is hardened against catastrophic weather events, with all systems fortified to remain operational.
