Brandstetter Carroll Inc. partnered with the City of Green to develop a comprehensive, long-term Parks and Recreation Master Plan that sets a clear vision for the future of the city’s park system.
The planning process was grounded in robust community input, including a statistically valid household survey, an open web-based survey, stakeholder group discussions, in-park conversations, and interactive online engagement. A thorough inventory and assessment of City-owned parkland and facilities provided the foundation for informed recommendations.
The resulting Master Plan outlines a bold vision supported by strategic goals and actionable objectives. It includes conceptual designs for several parks and offers detailed recommendations for land acquisition, facility upgrades, trail development, and expanded recreational programming—ensuring the City of Green is equipped to meet both current and future community needs.
