Scope

Bringing police services closer to the neighborhoods they protect, Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government engaged BCI in 2021 to design a new Police Roll Call Center — sited alongside Fire Station No. 22 to strengthen the City’s public safety presence in the area.

The facility is purpose-built for daily operations and community connection, housing offices for the Commander, Lieutenants, Sergeants, and Neighborhood Resource Officers alongside a Roll Call Room, breakroom, kitchenette, workroom, and storage. Pedestrian and vehicular access from two roads and 50 parking spaces ensure the center is easy to reach for both staff and the public.

Designed with the future in mind, the building features a solar-ready roof — a forward-thinking detail that reflects Lexington-Fayette’s commitment to sustainable public infrastructure.
