Scope

Brandstetter Carroll Inc.’s first project at the Ohio University Airport consisted of a sanitary sewer force main. Project design includes 1,250 feet of 1½” force main, with 800 feet constructed by jack and bore, and a 1½ hp grinder pump station. Project design incorporated required safety measures because of the project location on airport property and crossing of US 50/SR 30.

In 2008, BCI was involved in an expansion of the airport’s Snow Removal Equipment Building. The cost of that project was $400,000.

Following that building’s expansion, in 2017 BCI applied for two ODOT grants for Ohio University. The University was awarded $350,000 in state funds for an Obstruction Removal project as a result. Construction took place in April 2018.

In 2019, BCI completed the design and rehabilitation of the parallel taxiway. Construction was completed in 2019.

The 2021-2022 project is the reconstruction of the main ramp.
