Georgetown didn’t just need a new police department — they needed one that felt like it belonged to the community.
BCI partnered with the City and Georgetown Police Department to make that vision real, starting with site selection. After evaluating multiple locations, BCI helped the City secure property in the downtown corridor, anchoring the department where it could be most visible and accessible to the residents it serves.
The resulting 23,750 s.f., two-story facility houses a full range of operational functions — Administration, Patrol and Detective Divisions, Evidence Storage and Processing, Holding and In-Custody Processing, a Vehicle Sallyport, and secure parking — while fulfilling the City’s core mandate: a department that is genuinely part of the Georgetown community, and a place where residents feel welcome to walk through the door.
