The City of Bowling Green commissioned Brandstetter Carroll Inc. to design a new combination Training Center and Fire Station at the site of the existing Station 5.
The Bowling Green Station 5 and David Whitson Public Safety Training Facility is shared with Bowling Green Police Department for training. Half the building accommodates three drive-through truck bays for Fire and EMS, containing full equipment areas and living quarters for both. The other half consists of offices, meeting rooms, training rooms and locker/shower facilities for the purpose of Police and Fire Department training.
