Following the devastating December 2021 tornado, BCI partnered with the City of Mayfield to design a new Public Works Facility that would restore essential municipal operations and support the community’s long-term recovery efforts. The project provides modern administrative, maintenance, and operational space for Public Works staff while improving efficiency, functionality, and service delivery.
The new facility was designed to accommodate office functions, vehicle and equipment operations, maintenance activities, and employee support spaces within a durable and efficient campus. Careful planning focused on operational workflow, site circulation, vehicle access, and future growth needs. The project serves as a critical component of Mayfield’s municipal rebuilding initiative and provides a resilient facility to support daily public works operations for years to come.
