BCI partnered with the City of Owensboro and the Owensboro Fire Department to design Fire Station #3, a modern public safety facility that enhances emergency response capabilities and supports firefighter health, safety, and training. The new station was designed to accommodate evolving operational needs while providing efficient apparatus access, administrative space, training areas, and living quarters for personnel.
The facility includes apparatus bays, firefighter dormitories, training and conference spaces, administrative offices, fitness and wellness amenities, support areas, and secure site circulation. Throughout design and construction, BCI worked closely with City staff, fire department leadership, and the construction team to create a durable, functional facility that will serve the community for decades while supporting the Department’s mission of providing exceptional emergency services.
