Modernizing a police headquarters in the heart of a city takes more than design expertise — it takes a plan that keeps public safety running without interruption.
When the City of Denton chose BCI to renovate 90,000 s.f. of City Hall East into the new Police Headquarters, the team first designed a fully operational substation to house part of the department during construction, ensuring seamless continuity of service for Denton residents throughout the project.
BCI’s scope extended well beyond architecture — from a comprehensive assessment of the existing facility to developing a 114,000 s.f. building program and providing support through the bond referendum process, helping the City build community confidence in the investment.
