Scope

BCI was selected for its first engineering project in 1983. Since then, the firm has completed more than 100 engineering assignments. These have included street improvements,  water and sewer extensions, lift stations and booster stations, traffic signal upgrades and new signalization, as well as annual street and curb programs. Included in these services are three industrial development projects:

Highland Park Industrial Park was a new 135-acre industrial park with eight manufacturing facilities, most automobile related, including the major faculty for Cooper Tire. BCI provided full civil engineering services, surveying, design, permits, bidding, and construction administration for the water, sanitary and storm sewers, and roadway curb and pavement.
