Size

Scope

Brandstetter Carroll Inc. is currently working with the City of Lima to design and construct a new aquatic facility that will replace the city’s 80-year-old pool. This effort follows a comprehensive Aquatic Study completed in 2021, which identified the need for both an outdoor and indoor pool to serve the Lima community better.

The new facility, located in Lima Stadium Park, is being developed with strong support from Lima City Schools and the Lima YMCA, both of which have pledged their commitment to the project.

Once complete, the aquatic center will feature an activity pool, lap pool, a tot pool, interactive water features, a pool house, and a concession building. A signature element of the design is a retractable roof over the competition pool, enabling year-round use and expanded programming opportunities.

BCI continues to work closely with community stakeholders throughout the design and construction process, ensuring the facility meets the needs of both Lima City Schools and the Lima YMCA while creating a vibrant new space for the entire community.
