Scope

The project consisted of not only a new building for all Family, District, and Circuit Court functions, but also redevelopment of downtown Greenville, including the existing Courthouse Square. This involved closing a downtown street to create a pedestrian plaza unifying the new building with the stately old courthouse building. The new courthouse contains features such as a grand central stair, mosaic tile floors, and wood moldings.
