The Scott County Hall of Justice is a three-story building that will house the court functions for the county. The facility includes two Circuit, two District, and two Family Courtrooms; spaces for a Grand Jury; office space for the Court Clerk and other court functions; 10 dedicated secured interior parking spaces for the Judges and other Elected Officials; with dedicated holding facilities, including a secured sallyport for the transfer of those in custody. The building was designed to be similar to the surrounding architecture in Historic Downtown Georgetown with matching brick and stone colors. Additionally, there is a 60,000 s.f. plaza at the site.
