A big facelift has come to the Taylor County Public Library! The existing 11,000 s.f. was fully renovated and reconfigured to accept a new addition of 7,000 s.f. More meeting spaces were added, with distinct areas for all ages of the community to enjoy programming and new materials. Staff work areas and support spaces were added to improve the quality of services offered to patrons. This site also added parking and connectivity to two major roadways. Patios and greenspaces were developed to support programming better suited for the outdoors. The new facility allows the library to be compliant with KDLA essential standards.
