Scope

The City of Lewisville engaged Brandstetter Carroll Inc. to realize a long-awaited remodel of the City Hall basement into training and meeting rooms. The 10,500 s.f. project included a 90-person training room that can be sub-divided into four rooms, a large conference room sized to hold the City administrative staff, a small conference room, new restrooms, a break area, and lounge with teaming spaces. To keep the desired industrial look, bare concrete walls were kept, the ceiling was left open where appropriate, and the concrete floor was polished and dyed. To improve acoustics and to provide color, custom Baltic birch and patterned felt acoustical panels were designed. Because the space lacked any natural light, light finishes and doors with frosted glass panels were used to make the space feel bright.
